1. Usable area is less and varies based on many factors. A standard configuration uses approximately 10GB to 12GB of space, depending on the model and settings (including iOS and pre-installed apps). Installed applications use approximately 4 GB of space. You can delete and restore these apps.

7. Testing conducted by Apple in August 2015 using preproduction iPad mini 4 units and software. Tests include draining the full battery by performing each of the specified tasks: video playback, audio playback, and browsing the Internet using Wi Fi or a cellular data network. Video content is a repeated 2-hour 23-minute movie purchased from the iTunes Store. Audio content is a playlist containing 358 different tracks purchased from the iTunes Store. Internet tests over Wi ‑ Fi and cellular data network were conducted using dedicated web and mail servers, browsing image versions of 20 popular web pages and receiving mail once an hour. All default settings were used except: Wi Fi was connected to a network (except browsing the web with a cellular data network);Wi ‑ Fi Ask to Join Networks feature and Auto-Brightness feature are turned off; The brightness is set to P and WPA2 encryption is enabled. Battery life depends on device settings, usage and many other factors. Battery tests are conducted using specific iPad units; actual results may vary.
